What to Expect

Family sessions with me are built around real connection - laughing, walking, love, and letting your people be your people. I’ll guide you the whole time with simple prompts the goal isn’t stiff posing. It’s about all the little in-between moments

If you’re worried your kids won’t cooperate, good news: they don’t have to! We’ll keep it moving, we’ll keep it light, and I’ll work with their energy instead of against it. You show up, love on your family, and I’ll handle the rest.

Most sessions take place outdoors around golden hour for that soft, flattering light, but in-home sessions can be perfect too if you want something cozy and personal.

The answers to your questions

How long is a family session?

I have 2 options, a 30 minute or a 60 minute session. Both options gives us time to get a mix of group photos, smaller combinations, and candid moments without it feeling rushed.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

Totally normal and expected. I plan for movement and attention spans. We’ll keep it fun, use simple prompts, and follow their lead.

What should we wear?

First off, it's your shoot so you can wear what you like. That being said, neutrals + one accent color is always a safe win. Avoid large logos and super-busy patterns. Comfort matters, especially for kids and bring a backup for the little ones!

Where do you shoot?

I photograph families in Augusta, GA and throughout the CSRA (Evans, Grovetown, Martinez, North Augusta). I’ll recommend locations based on the look you want

What time of day is best?

The last couple of hour before sunset is usually my favorite for the best lighting, but I'm flexible so if something else work better, we can do that too.

Can we include grandparents or pets?

Yes! Extended family and pets are welcome, just tell me ahead of time so we can plan.

What happens if it rains?

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule. Or if you’re open to it, in-home sessions are also a great backup option.

When will we receive our photos?

Your edited gallery is delivered within 5-7 days via an online link, ready for download and sharing.
